PURPOSE

  • To conduct forensic investigations against set deliverables through the provision of quality forensic investigation services during national, provincial and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State institutions, in support of the multi-disciplinary approach (“MDA”) to all projects / assignments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • B Degree / National Diploma in Law or Accounting or Forensic Accounting or equivalent (NQF 6/7).
  • 3 years’ experience in Forensic Investigations.
  • Experience in Public Sector Investigations.

  • Knowledge of the applicable legislation (e.g. Criminal law, Criminal Procedure Law of Evidence, etc.).
  • Knowledge of public sector legal environment (PFMA, MFMA, Treasury Regulations and other relevant Treasury Directives).
  • Knowledge of ethics.
  • Knowledge of IT environment as well as financial systems and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles, methodology and practice.
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite Proficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct Forensic Investigations on Provincial, National and Strategic Projects.
  • Participation in Remedial Action Proceedings.
  • Forensic Investigation Area Compliance
